Jill Caren

…a serial entrepreneur (some call say she has ADD others call her inspiring – ask her and she will say she just loves what she does), who has run several different business from a local brick and mortar store to several online businesses including e-commerce, affiliate blogs and more. With over 15 years of dedicated business experience, she has had her share of poor experiences in the business world. After wasting many hours in forums that were useless, many dollars in online “marketing” services and just an overall sense of defeat in finding the right way to market, promote and grow her businesses she came up with HowistheBiz.com.

Prior to the crazy life of entrepreneurship Jill worked as a Retail Manager for Wawa Food Markets and then as a Corporate Event Manager for companies like DSET Corporation and BMW of North America as well as others.  She is an animal lover who is dedicated to pit bull awareness, has one amazing daughter – a darn supportive husband and a great life overall in NJ.

Tori Tait

… a go-getter by nature, Tori has always “figured out” how to get things done. When she started her own online business she began forming relationships with others who were also looking for the best resources and services available. In fact, that is how she  met Jill!  Since then, Tori has ran two successful websites, and has launched a thriving career as a  Social Media Marketer and Community Manager working with established brands and startups alike. When it comes to online social skills — Tori’s got them (just don’t call her a guru or expert — she says her success is a result of hard work and  passion)!

Prior to taking her go-get ‘em mentality online, Tori spent 10 years in the food retail industry as a Department Manager. With a BA in Communication and a 15 years of experience  in the feild, Tori is excited to help others through howisthebiz.com. Aside from “living” in the social realm, Tori has a wonderful  non-tweeting Husband and two darling daughters who keep her rooted in the “real world.”
